Registration for the 6th International Evidence Based Library and Information Practice conference is now open! Click on the links in the table below to find out more and pay by credit card.

Registration is now open. Full registration fees for the EBLIP6 conference include two evening receptions and lunch/refreshments for the three days of the conference. A day rate is available. Pre-conference workshops can also be booked.
Accompanying guests may attend the conference meal and you may register their interest in an accompanying persons programme at the time of your registration.
Day delegates may attend the conference meal or the welcome reception for an additional charge.

EBLIP6 Payment and Conditions
Booking policy: EBLIP6 accepts firm bookings via the University of Salford Online Shop. All fees are payable in full prior to the date of the conference or pre-conference workshop. Payment by invoice is available by request.
For the remote access programme it is advised that you check that you can access the tutorial before making a booking.
Cancellation Policy: Registration fees will be refunded upon receipt of a written notice of cancellation as follows. Cancellations received less than 7 working days before the start of the course will be subject to the full fee. For non-attendance at a course there will be no refunds and the full fee will be payable. Substitutions may be made at any time without additional cost. Cancellations before and on 15th April 2011 will be entitled to a 50% refund. Cancellations due to VISA restrictions up to 7 working days before the start of the conference will be entitled to a full refund on providing full written proof of VISA refusal.
Remote Access Programme only: Registration fees will only be refunded in the event of a technical failure of the Remote@EBLIP6 programme or, following consultation and verification from the Remote@EBLIP6 technical support team, you are unable to access the Remote@EBLIP6 programme.
Pre-Conference Workshops only: EBLIP6 reserves the right to cancel a course if insufficient bookings have been received. Delegates will be offered an alternative course or a full refund of the course fee.
EBLIP6 reserves the right to make changes to the conference programme.
EBLIP6 will not be liable for any consequential loss of travel or accommodation fees due to cancellations.
Accommodation
All delegate accommodation booking will be managed by Visit Manchester, the tourist board for Greater Manchester who have secured discounted rates at a number of hotels. Details of the hotels offered through Visit Manchester are available at the link below. These hotels have been selected for their proximity to public transport links to the conference venue.
Bursaries
The following organisations offer bursaries to attend professional development events; please contact the organisation direct if you are interested in finding out more about receiving financial support. Please note, this list is not exhaustive or comprehensive - you may therefore also wish to check the websites of other library and information professional organisations and groups to see if they offer similar support.
The HLG Bursary - Closing Dates: March 2011. Administered by the CILIP Health Libraries Group, this Bursary can be used for either training courses or conferences. Up to £250 is available per award and can be used for course/conference fees, travel costs (up to £100) and accommodation (for a conference). HLG Bursaries are awarded up to four times a year in March, June, September and December. Applicants must be a member of the Health Library Group.
Library and Information Health Network North West (LIHNN)/Health Care Libraries Unit (HCLU) Closing Date: None specified. The HCLU provides bursaries to help all levels of NW health library staff to attend a training event, seminar, workshop or conference. There are no specific deadlines.
The Library and Information Research Group (LIRG) is offering a bursary of £500 towards the full conference registration fee for EBLIP6.
